How does PCSAW make money to organize events?
PCSAW is a non-profit association; this means that we make money for our organization solely through profit from our events and from generously giving sponsors.

Does PCSAW get sponsored to attend or organise events?
PCSAW members are sponsored by such organizations as Polonia Centre Windsor (Inc.) and the Polish Canadian Business and Professional Association of Windsor (PCBPAW). The PCBPAW sponsored PCSAW’s Bonfire (Ognisko) event, as well as gave $500 to start off our organizing committee in December of 2008.
Polonia Centre Windsor (Inc.) sponsored 6 members in the amount of $1,200 to attend the “Quo Vadis? Polish Canadian Youth Leadership Challenge,” which was a national conference held in Ottawa from May 1-3 2009. Where and how often does PCSAW hold meetings?
We hold meetings at a private residence, local coffee shop, or the University of Windsor based on room availability. We hold meetings once a month usually in the evening.

Could I attend a meeting to see what PCSAW is about?
We gladly welcome spectators to our meetings! This way, anyone outside our executive committee can learn about how we work together for a communal cause, without the obligation to join our group promptly.

Is there a cost associated with being a PCSAW member?
Nope! All members are welcomed to be on the committee for free. The three things we look for in new members are responsibility, commitment, and the will to help the existing organizing team in future endeavours.

What events does PCSAW organize and how often?
PCSAW organizes various events from successful Polish Week in Windsor dances that invite high school and post-secondary students from all over Windsor, to cleaning up Dom Polski’s Polska Plaza, to international conferences.
